PUBLIC NOTICE


Heritage Richmond Hill Committee meetings will be held electronically at this time. The public can observe meetings of Council and Committees by viewing the livestream of the open session part of these meetings which can be accessed on the City’s website (Richmondhill.ca) or on the City’s YouTube page (linked from the City’s homepage).

 

Public Comments: The public may submit written correspondence regarding agenda items by email to [email protected]. Written correspondence must be submitted by 12 p.m. (noon) the day before the meeting. Comments submitted will be provided to all Members of Council, are considered as public information and will be included on the public agenda posted to the City’s website.

 

Electronic Delegations: Any person who wishes to speak to Heritage Richmond Hill regarding agenda items must pre-register with the Office of the Clerk by 12 p.m. (noon) one business day before the meeting. Applications to appear as an electronic delegation can be submitted by email to [email protected] or by using the on-line application form found on Richmondhill.ca. The Office of the Clerk will provide instructions on appearing as a delegation.

 


  • a) That the minutes of Heritage Richmond Hill meeting HRH#01-25 held February 6, 2025, be adopted.

  • That Heritage Richmond Hill recommends to Council:

    a) That staff report SRPBS.25.027 regarding Notice of Intention to Designate 297 Richmond Street, be received;

    b) That City Council state its intention to designate the property at 297 Richmond Street under Part IV, Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act in recognition of its cultural heritage significance, and in accordance with the Statement of Significance: 297 Richmond Street, attached as Attachment “A” to staff report SRPBS.25.027;

    c) That staff be directed to publish and serve Council’s Notice of Intention to Designate as per the requirements of the Ontario Heritage Act;

    d) That if there are no objections to the designation in accordance with the provisions of the Ontario Heritage Act, that staff be directed to place a Designation By-law before Council at a future Council meeting for adoption;

    e) That staff be authorized and directed to do all things necessary to give effect to this resolution.

  • a) That the presentation by Julia Smith, Urban Design/Heritage Planner, regarding the Withdrawal of the Notice of Intention to Designate 12345 Yonge Street, be received.
