PUBLIC NOTICE

Affordable Housing Strategy Implementation Committee meetings will be held electronically at this time. The public can observe meetings of Council and Committees by viewing the livestream of the open session part of these meetings which can be accessed on the City’s website (Richmondhill.ca) or on the City’s YouTube page (linked from the City’s homepage).

 

Written Comments: The public may submit written correspondence regarding agenda matters by email to [email protected]. Written correspondence must be submitted by 12 p.m. (noon) on the day before the meeting. Comments submitted will be provided to all Members of Council, considered as public information and noted in the public record.

 

Electronic Delegations: The public may apply to appear as an electronic delegation by videoconference or by telephone. Applications to appear as an electronic delegation must be submitted by 12 p.m. (noon) the day before the meeting by email to [email protected] or by using the on-line application form found on Richmondhill.ca. The Office of the Clerk will provide instructions on appearing as an electronic delegation.

• a) That a member of the Affordable Housing Implementation Committee be elected as Chair for the remainder of the 2018 to 2022 Term of Council;

Proposed Prioritization for the Action Plan for the Affordable Housing Strategy

6.1.1

Presentation by Sybelle von Kursell, Manager, Policy Planning, regarding Affordable Housing Strategy - Prioritization Action of Action Plan

• a) That the presentation by Sybelle von Kursell, Manager, of Policy, regarding the proposed Prioritization of Action Plan for the Affordable Housing Strategy, be received and all comments referred back to staff.

6.1.2

Memorandum from Commissioner Kwan, dated May 3, 2022 regarding the Proposed Prioritization for the Action Plan for the Affordable Housing Strategy

• a) That the Memorandum from Commissioner Kwan, dated May 3, 2022 regarding the Proposed Prioritization for the Action Plan for the Affordable Housing Strategy, be received;

  b) That the prioritization of action to implement the Affordable Housing Strategy, as outlined in the Memorandum from Commissioner Kwan, dated May 3, 2022, and in Appendix A, be endorsed.

Official Plan Update - Draft Official Plan Amendments related to Vision and City Structure, and Neighbourhoods, and their relevance to the Affordable Housing Strategy's Action Plan

- Presentation by Chun Chu, Senior Planner, Policy Planning

• a) That the presentation by Chun Chu, Senior Planner, Policy Planning, regarding the Official Plan Update - Draft Official Plan Amendments related to Vision and City Structure, and Neighbourhoods, and their relevance to the Affordable Housing Strategy's Action Plan, be received and all comments referred back to staff.

6.3

Affordable Housing Strategy Implementation Committee Meeting Format for the Remainder of the 2018 to 2022 Term of Council

• a) That the Affordable Housing Strategy Implementation Committee confirm the format of meetings going forward, either to be held in-person or electronically, for the remainder of the 2018 to 2022 Term of Council.
