PUBLIC NOTICE

 

David Dunlap Observatory Park Project Steering Committee meetings will be held in a hybrid format at this time.  The public can observe meetings of Council and Committees by attending in-person or by viewing the livestream of these meetings which can be accessed on the City's website (Richmondhill.ca) or on the City's YouTube page (linked from the City's homepage).
 
Public Comments: The public may submit written correspondence regarding agenda matters by email to [email protected]. Written correspondence must be submitted by 12 p.m. (noon) one business day before the meeting. Comments submitted will be provided to Members of Committee, are considered as public information and will be included on the public agenda posted on the City's website.
 
Delegations:  Any person who wishes to address Committee on agenda items must pre-register with the Office of the Clerk by 12 p.m. (noon) one business day before the meeting. Applications to appear as a delegation can be submitted by email to [email protected] or by using the on-line application form found on Richmondhill.ca. Delegations can be in-person, or electronic by video conference or telephone. The Office of the Clerk will provide instructions on appearing as an electronic delegation.

• a) That a member of the David Dunlap Observatory Park Project Steering Committee be elected as Chair for the 2022 to 2026 Term of Council;

  b) That a member of the David Dunlap Observatory Park Project Steering Committee be elected as Vice-Chair for the 2022 to 2026 Term of Council.

• a) That the extract from Council Meeting C#17-22 held April 27, 2022 regarding staff report SRPI.22.017, Richmond Hill David Dunlap Observatory Park Early Priorities Project Update, be received.

SRPI.23.017 - Richmond Hill David Dunlap Observatory Park Project Update

- Presentation by Bob Levesque, Director, Infrastructure Delivery

• a) That Staff Report SRPI.23.017 regarding Richmond Hill David Dunlap Observatory Park Project Update be received;

  b) That staff proceed with the Pedestrian / Cyclist Bridge, and Pickleball Facility preferred options at a future Public Information Centre;

  c) That staff continue with the implementation of the early priorities projects.

David Dunlap Observatory Park Project Steering Committee Meeting Format for the 2022 to 2026 Term of Council

• a) That the David Dunlap Observatory Park Project Steering Committee confirm the format of meetings going forward, either to be held in-person or electronically, for the 2022 to 2026 Term of Council.
