PUBLIC NOTICE
 
City facilities are open to the public to attend Council and Committee meetings. The public can observe meetings of Council and Committees by attending in-person or by viewing the livestream of the open session part of these meetings which can be accessed on the City’s website (Richmondhill.ca) or on the City’s YouTube page (linked from the City’s homepage).

Public Comments: The public may submit written correspondence regarding agenda items by email to [email protected]. Written correspondence must be submitted by 12 p.m. (noon) one business day before the meeting. Comments submitted will be provided to all Members of Council, are considered as public information and will be included on the public agenda posted to the City’s website.

Delegations: Any person who wishes to speak to Council on agenda items must pre-register with the Office of the Clerk by 12 p.m. (noon) one business day before the meeting. Applications to appear as a delegation can be submitted by email to [email protected] or by using the on-line application form found on Richmondhill.ca. Delegations can be in person, or electronically by video conference or telephone. The Office of the Clerk will provide instructions on appearing as a delegation.

  • a) That the current contract for the supply of wireless cellular services previously awarded non-competitively to Bell Mobility Inc. (“Bell Mobility”) be extended for an additional term of six (6) months at a cost not exceeding $145,000 (exclusive of taxes) pursuant to Appendix “B” Part I, Section (c) of the Procurement By-law No. 113-16 as amended by By-law 141-20 to ensure compatibility with existing deployed technologies; and,

    b) That the Commissioner of Corporate and Financial Services be authorized to execute any necessary documentation to effect the contract.

  • a) That Staff Report SRCS.24.02 be received, and that all comments on the key directions and draft Property Standards By-law and Clean Neighbourhoods By-law be referred back to staff;

    b) That staff engage further community consultation on the draft Property Standards and Clean Neighbourhoods By-laws;

    c) That staff report back to Council with:

    1. A new Property Standards By-law based on key directions outlined in Staff Report SRCS.24.02 and any comments received;
    2. A new Clean Neighbourhoods By-law based on key directions outlined in Staff Report SRCS.24.02 and any comments received;
    3. Amendments to the Administrative Penalty By-law No. 69-16 to incorporate designated Property Standards By-law and Clean Neighbourhoods By-law offences. 
  • a) That staff report SRCS.24.01 regarding the Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG 911) Project be received.

    b) That the Commissioner of Community Services and the Fire Chief be delegated authority to jointly execute necessary agreements to facilitate implementation of the Next Generation 9-1-1 digital platform for the Richmond Hill Public Safety Answering Point (911 call centre).

  • a) That Staff Report SRPBS.24.005 regarding a Private Street Naming Application submitted by 2706379 Ontario Limited for the lands known as Block 226, Plan 65M-3802 (Municipal Address: 12600 Bayview Avenue) be approved subject to the following:

    1. That the proposed private street Frederick Ludford Lane (P), be approved in accordance with SRPBS.23.022; and,
    2. That staff be directed to bring forward a by-law to implement the approval of the street name in accordance with SRPBS.23.022.
