PUBLIC NOTICE
Due to efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19 and to protect all individuals, City facilities will not be open to the public to attend Council and  Committee meetings until further notice.

 

Public Comments: The public may submit written correspondence regarding agenda matters by email to [email protected]. Written correspondence must be submitted by 12 p.m. the day before the meeting. Comments submitted will be provided to all Members of Council, considered as public information and noted in the public record.

 

Public Forum: Any person who wishes to speak to Council on a matter not on the agenda must pre-register with the Office of the Clerk by 12 p.m. noon the day before the meeting by email to [email protected] or by using the on-line form found on Richmondhill.ca. Public Forum will be by video conference via the internet or telephone only. A maximum of five persons will be allowed to register for the Public Forum on a first come first serve basis.

 

Electronic Delegations: The public may apply to appear as an electronic delegation by video conference or by telephone. Applications to appear as an electronic delegation must be submitted by 12 p.m. the day before of the meeting by email to [email protected] or by using the on-line application form found on Richmondhill.ca. The Office of the Clerk will provide instructions on appearing as an electronic delegation.

Committee and Staff Reports
 

  • a) That the on-street parking permit program be utilized as a temporary parking solution for 255 Shaftsbury Avenue;

    b) That staff be directed to continue to work with the condominium board at 255 Shaftsbury Avenue through the development application process to provide additional on-site parking for the site, and to work with the condominium board to determine whether additional temporary parking measures need to be considered as part of this process;

    c) That staff to report back to Council should additional temporary parking measures be required.

  • a) That the contract for the procurement and implementation of the Council System Upgrades required to enable on-site Council Meetings with physical distancing be awarded non-competitively to MacLean Media Systems, for a cost not exceeding $160,000 (exclusive of Taxes) pursuant to Article 7.1 Appendix “B” Part I – Sole Source Acquisitions Section (c) of the Procurement By-law 113-16 as the goods and/or services is to ensure compatibility with existing products that must be maintained by the manufacturer or its representative;

    b) That the Mayor and the Clerk be authorized to execute any necessary documentation to effect the contract upon the recommendation of the Commissioner of Corporate and Financial Services.

  • a) That the correspondence received from Randal Dickie, President, Urban Growth Inc., dated September 18, 2020, regarding the proposed City-Initiated Official Plan Amendment 18.2 Leslie Street Institutional Area for 9843, 9853, 9861, 9875, 9893, 9901 and 9947 Leslie Street, be received.

  • a) That the correspondence from Michael S. Manett, MPLAN Inc., dated September 22, 2020, regarding the proposed Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment Applications submitted by Goldenville Development Inc. for 39, 41, 45, 53, 59, 69, 79, 81, 89, 91 and 97 Carrville Road, be received.
