PUBLIC NOTICE

Due to efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19 and to protect all individuals, City facilities will not be open to the public to attend Council and Committee meetings until further notice.

 

Public Comments: The public may submit written correspondence regarding agenda matters by email to [email protected]. Written correspondence must be submitted by 12 p.m. the day before the meeting. Comments submitted will be provided to all Members of Council, considered as public information and noted in the public record.

 

Public Forum: Any person who wishes to speak to Council on a matter not on the agenda must pre-register with the Office of the Clerk by 12 p.m. noon the day before the meeting by email to [email protected] or by using the on-line form found on Richmondhill.ca. Public Forum will be by video conference via the internet or telephone only. A maximum of five persons will be allowed to register for the Public Forum on a first come first serve basis.

 

Electronic Delegations: The public may apply to appear as an electronic delegation by video conference or by telephone. Applications to appear as an electronic delegation must be submitted by 12 p.m. the day before the meeting by email to [email protected] or by using the on-line application form found on Richmondhill.ca. The Office of the Clerk will provide instructions on appearing as an electronic delegation.

Committee and Staff Reports
 

  • a) That the revised Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment applications submitted by Yonge Sixteen LP, for lands known as Part of Lot 1, Registered Plan 3805 and Part of Lots 1, 2 and 3, Registered Plan 3806 (Municipal Address: 9251 Yonge Street), Files D01-19002 and D02-19012, be approved, subject to the following:

    1. that the site specific exception applicable to the subject lands under Section 6.5 of the City’s Official Plan be amended to reflect the revised development proposal as outlined in SRPI.20.040 and on Appendix C attached hereto;
    2. that following the approval of the applicant’s Official Plan Amendment by the City, the Official Plan Amendment be forwarded to York Region for approval;
    3. that prior to final approval and enactment of the amending Zoning By-law for the revised development proposal as outlined in SRPI.20.040, the applicant receive Site Plan approval for said development; and,

       

    4. that Council approve the Section 37 Community Benefits package in support of the applicant’s revised development proposal as outlined in SRPI.20.040, and that the benefits package be incorporated into the implementing Zoning By-law to the satisfaction of the Commissioner of Infrastructure

       

    b) That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute any agreements and any further documentation between the City and Yonge Sixteen LP, as required to implement the applicant’s revised development proposal as outlined in SRPI.20.040;

    c) That the authority to assign municipal servicing allocation for the proposed development to be constructed on the subject lands be delegated to the Commissioner of Planning and Infrastructure subject to the criteria in the City’s Interim Growth Management Strategy, and that the assigned servicing allocation be released in accordance with the provisions of By-law 109-11; and,

    d) That all comments regarding the applicant’s revised Site Plan application be referred back to staff.

  • a) That the correspondence from Marie Chow, 6 Belinda Court, received June 6, 2020, regarding the proposed Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment applications submitted by Yonge Sixteen LP for 9251 Yonge Street, be received.

  • a) That the correspondence from Popi Bowman, 33 Puccini Drive, regarding the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment and Draft Plan of Subdivision Applications submitted by King East Developments Inc., be received.

  • That the following correspondence regarding the proposed Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment applications submitted by Yonge Sixteen LP for 9251, be received:
